It’s the start of March!

For me March is full of good things. It’s my birthday at the end of the month, Spring also begins now. We’re on the countdown to Easter and a 4 day weekend; what’s not to like?

To celebrate March and *gulp* my last birthday in my 30s, I’ve signed up to the #meetthemaker Instagram challenge. Every day I’ll post something with a specific purpose. Starting with ‘My Story’ where you can read how This Demanding Life came about and ending with FAQs. You’ll see I’ve left the comments open on the posts so if you have any questions please do get in touch, I love hearing from you.

You can also follow this series on my Facebook Page and Instagram Feed.

Reducing Waste

I remember when recycling first became a thing. I was 10 years old, Blue Peter was on tv and they were explaining about crushing and recycling cans. At school we were learning about deforestation, particularly of the rain forest. At the time my teacher said it was so McDonalds could put cows [...]

Time

Time is my most precious commodity. With a full time website development business, 3.5 children to get to where they need to go, a dog to walk and a household to run, time management can be a tricky business. Saying that I live by the adage that if you want something done [...]

Hands at Work

Having a steady hand whilst working isn’t something I particularly thought about before I became a website designer. Cropping images to get them just right, alongside dragging and dropping content across a site has shown me that having steady hands is one of the most important parts of it. I am constantly [...]

My Story

I never thought I was very creative as I couldn’t draw anything recognisable. Instead I learned to play lots of instruments and kept well away from the arty stuff. The two things (other than Food Tech) I was really good at were English and IT. After school, following a brief career as [...]
