Betsy’s Bake is a cake company offering handmade cakes in the Brighton and East Sussex area. With an extensive cake list and catering for just about every dietary requirement, Betsy’s is an extremely popular company.

This was a new website to replace a 6 year old website which had been very popular but had become dated. I created the colourful information columns, inspired by neapolitan ice-cream and then ran the colours through other areas of the website, in the forms and the backgrounds. I added a sketchy, wave effect at the bottom of the main images and colourful sections to give a playful feel to the website, to complement the playful descriptions of the cakes.

I added order forms as a solution to cut down on telephone and email times. This proved very popular and the website received 4 orders via the forms within the first few hours of going live!
