We have great systems
Having worked in websites for the best part of two decades we’ve developed our systems, our processes and our communication to know that we’re serving our customers 100%. Our processes ensure we keep the website on track and to the timescales quoted. At the beginning of working together we have an agreement which tells you exactly what you can expect from us, and what we need from you, to make it a great working relationship.
Our experience of working with corporates is that they’re not very good at keeping to timescales as they like to meet and discuss progress as a team. Ever heard the expression ‘too many chefs spoil the broth?’ In websites, too many opinions ruin the project. We’re much better at working 1:1, occasionally 1:2, and you get the benefit of our 1:1 attention.
Small businesses tend to have more personality
Getting your personality into your website is the bit we love best! Whether that’s through your brand with funky fonts, wonderful colours and great imagery, or your website copy (hello, Natalie and Oliver, our copywriters) or the website layout, we have you covered.
Whatever parts of you, you want to get across in your website, we have the expertise to highlight the best bits. Whereas corporates, feel a little grey to us and when we hear ‘build us a website like our competitors’, we know we’re not the right fit for them.
It’s about the feel
We don’t have anything against corporates, lots of them are great and do really important work.
We know lots of corporates like to have an industry standard where they all have a look and feel which is similar. This may make them feel they have more credibility but it’s just not for us. We believe that everyone is credible and their website should feel as unique as they are. We’re here to encourage them to be unashamedly them, on their website.
